Week 10 – Summer Art Camp – August 27th-31st, 2018 —Animal Week!
Join us this Summer for some fun, all new Art projects sure to inspire your budding young Artist! This Week we Welcome Little Ray’s to bring along some Animals to Paint from! Please note, we can not guarantee half day children will be able to see the animals, only full/extended day children.
Not all School Boards have this week off. Please verify with your child’s school before registering.
Children will learn to work in Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Watercolours, Pastels, Clay, and more! Due to the popularity of this camp register early to not miss out, as spaces fill fast! Each week we will be creating new art pieces, perfect for children who wish to register for multiple weeks. We do recommend contacting the studio first, if you should wish to register for 3 weeks or more.
Full/Extended Day programming is ideal for children 6-14 years of age, who love to create all things Art, and can work on one art piece for an extended period of time. We do however allow for children 5-6 years of age from time to time in a full day program, if the Studio agrees they are ready for a full day camp. Please ask for more details.
Half Day camp is great for children ages 5-13.
Registering with a friend? Please note full and extended day children are in a separate program then half day children. If you would like your child to be in the same class as their friend/sibling you must register for the same program. We can not place half day children with full/extended day campers as they work on different projects.
Is Art Camp Great for My Child? Camps at Tracy’s Art Studio are designed for children who can’t get enough Art and love to create! We work in a wide range of Art supplies to increase interest in Art and development by making learning fun. Children enjoy creating each art project and making new friends along the way. No experience required, just a desire to learn all things Art! From time to time children register more out of convenience, instead of an interest in Art and learning. Sometimes this can put a strain on our classroom environment. We do not tolerate disruptive behaviour. Warnings will be giving to a parent, however should disruptive behaviour continue, a child may be pulled from the program with no refunds given. Full day program is best for child who have a keen art interest and can focus for extended periods of time. Half day is great for those new to Art and younger ages. Should you be unsure if our camp is right for your child, please inquire via email.
